The “Housse,” is owned by the Damphousse family, and its name is a play on the unique spelling of our last name -- a running joke in the family for years. We purchased the lodge in 2021, but it has operated since the early 1980s. Over the years, this location, right on the edge of Greer’s Ferry Lake, has hosted numerous families, businesses on retreats, church groups, golf groups, weddings, and so much more.  

 

The house was completely renovated in 2017, and we have spent the past few years updating it and adding our special touches. The lodge comfortably sleeps 42 and has plenty of space inside and out to entertain the crowd or to get some serious work done.
